I'm about sick of these assholes that only focus on damage in the game. They don't care about getting beacons. Or if they win or lose it seems. If they just get top damage win or lose they get league points and silver. It easy to spot them. If you lose they will be on top damage with 0 beacons. Or you might notice campers in the same bot the whole game. Nearly to maxed gear too. You might even catch them walking by beacons and have zero interest in changing them. Just sick of these bozos in my random matches.

I've seen this a lot, too. I usually have to saunter over and grab a few. But lately, with BR out, I haven't encountered too many of these types of Players.
Give it a day or two on iOS and Domination should clean up .. hopefully.

On moon map I'm the only one brawler, other blue team just midrange and camping. No one getting beacons, we lose the match.

This is why I've always been a fan of all winners getting points and all losers losing points. There's no point incentivizing someone to be the "best" loser, because those people are just as likely to be one of the reasons you lost.

Blame the game mechanics not the players.

Blame the game mechanics not the players. If you got damage credit for knocking down anciles and physical shields i think things would improve a lot. These rocket slinging turkeys that wait for someone else to knock down an ancile are the worst.

Well they need to change it so everyone looses the same amount on the losing team no matter what your damage is. Because the same thing was happening. Some people just focus on top damage and don't focus on beacons and the win. Hell that might not even change it. Only time I see a good beacon focus is during event challenges.

The previous Scoring of +/-15 was similar to what you suggest. This new(er) system is basically a Vulcan mind-fking .. I can't figure out the premise for it, no matter how hard I try. Even if you gave me a Map, a Pencil and a Compass - Nope. Totally lost ..

Zero had a good explanation for why the scoring is what it is now. It was math-y and technical so I don't remember. But it made sense when I heard it.

But that's where I think it goes wrong. We can crunch numbers all day but those are in controlled circumstances.
In the real world, in-game, there is too many factors that affect the numbers that can't be accounted for so, it doesn't work as intended.
I say bin the Elo and just let Players advance based on their own merits.

Got 14 beacons on Moon map with an ECU/Cossack. Noone else on my team took 1. Lost the match.
Took my Rhino on an around the map stroll capping beacons once because noone else was going for them. I was amazed that I managed to go all the way around the Canyon map without anyone even shooting at me until I went for the center beacon. Got every beacon but lost the match anyways. 5 beacons just wasn't enough since noone else was taking or defending them either.
I'm a full Champion in the Amazon servers but that's mostly because there are so few players in that server system. It's exactly like playing in the Android LQ since all levels of players are forced to play in matches together. I'm one of the clubbers(there are very few leavers there) because I got in on it early and my equipment is pretty highly upgraded comparatively to most other players. But I've noticed very little difference between new players and those with more experience when it comes to getting those beacons. The Amazon Golds-Champions have figured out that just getting high damage can keep them ranked and it seems that that's all they're concerned with a lot of the time. I usually get 3 beacons per match but I'm running 2 Leos, 2 Griffs and a Galahad while trying to fight as well. Can't do everything, but I am doing all that I possibly can. But damn it frustrates me no end when I take one of those big babies of mine on stroll to get those beacons everyone has been ignoring only to have some shitheel light bot beat me to it by one or two steps after I've used up so much time just getting that close. Especially on maps like Yama, Springfield and Canyon.
If anyone has ever checked you get 10k Ag for every beacon you take. I know this from running ECU/bots for a long period of time in the LQ. So for me using a light bot just to cap beacons was comparable to just using a light bot to fight. And doing both with a light bot was no different than either of the other playing modes. It's the same rewards no matter which option you choose to play but the dedicated beacon capper mode usually gets more Au in the long run. At least that was my experience while doing it.
