This new game mode is a blast. Full of action and fast-paced fun. But with a new game mode, comes the need to learn new skills. One of the most important skills that needs to be fine-tuned and enhanced to succeed in Beacon Rush is awareness. Not only situational awareness but map awareness.
I haven't played a ton of games in the new mode yet, but a few of the things I've learned so far will help me going forward.
This first lesson was hard-learned. And quickly learned. Flipping beacons is dangerous. This doesn't mean you should avoid flipping them, because flipping beacons quickly is more important than ever. But now you have to be much smarter in how you do it. Don't stand in the middle of the beacon to flip it, and don't have your back facing the beacon while flipping it. Until you turn the beacon white, reds can respawn in it. And they randomly spawn anywhere in the circle surrounding the beacon. So if you're standing right in the center, or have your back facing the majority of the beacon, chances are someone will spawn behind you and kill you before you flip it. Stay on the edge of the beacon when possible, this way newly spawning reds will drop in front of you. This gives you the best chance to fight them off until you can turn it.
Map awareness is the other key part. The reds can spawn at any of their beacons. They can also wait to spawn once their teammates flip a beacon. So beware if you see that multiple reds haven't respawned and one of them is flipping a beacon. Trying to take them head on could turn into an ambush if you don't kill them before they capture the beacon. So engage with cover between you and most of the beacon. That way if it does turn into an ambush you can get fully behind cover quickly.

You call it hyper-awareness, I call it 'Fear for my Life.' Good strategies.
I'd like to add, if you just turn a Beacon White, you can slow their Clock and limit the enemy's ability to Spawn. Worked a few times for me.
Awesome Thtead ..

Not much playing BR now because it's hard. IMO, BR is very agressive battle.

. I think Beacon Rush will be around for the long haul. It seems right now that you can get a match faster on BR than on the original mode. More players in the BR pool. Of course that could change when the BR honeymoon is over. But for now I'm thinking it's popular enough that PIX will keep it.
