I've been on the hunt for a quality screen recorder for iOS 10 without jail breaking my phone. I've tried a couple of different things with some success.
What have you guys found that works... and is free?

As far as I know you need to use one of three options: 1) connect pc or mac with a cable 2) use airplay 3) jailbreak the phone

I have an iPad air. I ran into this when Battle Titans beta came out. I wanted to screen record some gameplay to share. I quickly found there isnt much for good screen recorders on iOS. There was some 3rd party ones that want you to buy them and offer a small demo. But I was a bit leary of them being they were not in the app store.

The new iOS version 11 is supposed to have screen recording ability but that won't be out for a while

If you're willing to pay a bit of money, Reflector or X Mirage works well.

If you got a PC or a Mac nearby - that won't be a problem. Do you have one? P.s. and you can have iOS11 right now.

So, today is a great day. Every iOS player can record their screen with no additional software!
Rejoice, people of Apple!
