Hi all,
You may recognize me from the other forum. I saw Ⅎ₹ѺC₭₩ELDEℲ₹'s thread on the other forum, which led me to this one and I noticed that the members on this forum are the ones I usually pay the most attention to. By the way, if you're reading this Ⅎ₹ѺC₭₩ELDEℲ₹, I ran into you this weekend on Springfield... the battle was ugly and short. It's nice to see mijapi300 and blastronaut are here as well.
A bit about me:
- I live in Ottawa (Canada)
- 41 years old
- I play sporadically during the day, but mostly late at night when my wife and kids are asleep (hence the name Owl). Being self-employed and working from a home office allows me to sleep in a bit later than most.
A bit about me in the game:
- Android
- Currently in the Diamond league
- I am the "leader" of a "clan" that consists of my two young kids, a business partner of mine who I introduced to the game (he's in Silver at the moment), and a low level secondary account of mine which I use to squad with my kids. The main purpose of the clan is for my kids to squad together during summer vacation.
- I kept changing my mind in regards to what I thought I needed in my hanger, so I have a a ton of bots and weapons at level 9 and I'm just now beginning to level up what I currently play in my 9/9 hanger, which is a brawler hanger... no more range setups for me. The variety of options is a nice bi-product to my indecisiveness though.
Anyway, thanks for starting this forum.

Hello Owl  Nice to see you here. Thanks for the brief bio. Made me wonder if your that screen name I see sometimes. Dawson and son or something like that. It's an odd name that makes me think it's a father and son playing the same account . Keep in mind this site can be a little rough around the edges. Children younger than 18 might learn colorful new words they might not need to say. Or start asking where do babies come from.. |

My kids aren't allowed to search the internet on their own yet, and although they play the game, there's no way I would let them take part in a forum such as this one. |

Android ID: 4MQJK9 "Firebeard" Hope to Squad up, soon .. Thanks Firebeard. Drove through Oshawa many times in my life on my way to Toronto. I also used to watch the 67's play the Generals a lot when I was younger. I'm not on facebook, so are we able to squad together? I would invite you into my "clan", but as noted above, it's not really much of a clan. |

Welcome Owl! Some damn fine parenting on this forum. I love that you have a clan for your kids. My little guy isn't old enough yet to play, but sometimes he watches if he is still awake at night and I let him pick which bots to drop. #superdadsunite!

Thanks Heavy Panda. One thing I like, in regards to the kids, is the lack of blood and death in the game. Because of this, my wife is okay with my kids playing it. They also aren't allowed to sqaud with strangers.
If and when your boy begins playing, Thunder/Punisher Leo seems the best for kids..... 'start shooting at 500m and walk straight towards the target' is much easier than most builds and bots for them. Plus the high HP helps them last longer. It makes me laugh when my son gets top score in a battle, knowing he's likely playing a bunch of middle aged men.
