Hey, Ya'll,
Firebeard here. Hope to have fun - and not be attacked like I'm bleeding in a Shark tank just for having an alternative viewpoint .. like another "place" I know.
But glad to see some familiar faces. Should be awesome!

Welcome Firebeard! Someone might call you an idiot for your viewpoint here, but nobody will ever tell you not to have a certain viewpoint.  Basically all viewpoint can be spoken freely here. And if people get in a tiff over something, we'll just move it to the Hate Club where they can continue their tiff. |

If nothing else, it would allow you to experiment with some setups without being a liability to the team. In Domination, I rarely get to my fifth bot and this allows me to try Tempest Fury or Treb Butch or Hydra Doc and still have the confidence to eject and move on if it's not working (I frequently mech out in BR). Then you could try Quad Zenit Butch, you'd love it--I don't! Not criticizing...100% positive...but try it:) |

The great thing about this game is that we play it the way we want to play it. Myself, I saved up for 5 slots before spending gold on anything else, but FireBeard has decided to go with just 3 slots, which has allowed him to upgrade his 3 bots more quickly, and Docs are great bots.
Now that you are approaching Diamond Firebeard, you may change your mind about the 4th slot. When you start facing 5 slot hangers with bots as powerful as yours, you're going to mech out a lot.

Thanks, it good to read from someone who understands my perspective. I will be getting a 4th and a 5th Hangar bay(s), when my 3rd Doc's Orkans are leveled. Then I'll have 3×Docs + 1 Vityaz (love this mecha). Eventually, I'll replace 'Vinny the Vityaz with a full compliment of Docs - if they stop Nerfing them lol |
