I'm on iOS so I haven't seen the BR game mode yet. But what I've heard is that it's a race for center beacon and then a campfest on it.
What if you lost center beacon, but you had a couple of high level Zenit Furies just start unloading on center. I would think you could clear it out pretty quick and then overwhelm the reds with a push of 3-4 people.
Would this work in the current BR mode?

Sounds good in theory. Maybe someone would test it. At the very least, it'd give me an excuse to finish leveling my zenits.

Won a Gold level game after losing center beacon because the zenits cleared the way for a hammer boa strike. Though my side probably lost center beacon because 2 assholes with zenits.

In BR, you would be quickly flanked. Beacons change very quickly and you could have 5 Opponent surrounding you faster than you can blink.
It's pretty intense. Not what I thought it would be but it cleaned up Domination - great battles to be had, now.

I think it would depend on the map but from my experience with BR, if you don't maintain forward pressure, you lose, and if the reds spawn bots with Anciles in the center, Zenits become a bit useless. As far as support for hammering the reds on the center beacon goes, I think something with Zeus' or a RDB Griffin would be best.

The losing team mechs out 99% of time. Not as much Zenits anymore, I think the time of the zenits is done, it was people testing out the update.

I think Players haven't quite found the Zenits potential, yet. I see value in using them in tandem with other weapons. Not as a main offensive weapon but a Zenit in combination with other weapons would give a mecha versatility.
I see some value with the new 300m range, personally.

There appears to be a lot of meching out in all the leagues these days. A bi-product of buffing a so many weapons I think.

I've been looking up and comparing the damage done by Zenit users vs. Hydra/Spiral users lately in my battles, since they have a similar purpose. The Hydra/Spirals users seem to cause much more damage.
I personally won't use either, but IMO I would not waste your time and silver leveling up Zenits.

mijapi300, I think you heard wrong. In BR, no one camps. If reds take center, they spawn there and come at you. Their home bacon safely behind their picket line. Zenits are the opposite of what succeeds in BR.

I've played a couple of games and have noticed the same thing @heavypanda. Zenits still have no place in the game.

No. Well, qualified with "at least not against people who know how to play". Against n00bs that just mindlessly spawn back because they think that that's how they're gonna win, sure. But realistically, against seasoned opponents, there won't ever be a kill box to exploit this way.

No. Please just no.
RDBs are already having a field day with bombarding center beacons...

I was nailed twice by Zenits, today.
When they target you when your low on armour, there is no place to hide.
I'd say they can be a good support weapon. One Opponent had a Zenit equipped on a Golem. Very mobile, very effective ..
