With a lack of diversity in higher Leagues, being a result of armour values - meaning powerful weapons destroy low armoured mecha easily - it has become a game of best weapons versus best durability.
If we forced a Player to adopt use of all Classes (Light, Medium, Heavy) then we could have all mecha being viable in all Leagues.
Here's my thought on this:
2×Light Slots, 2×Medium Slots and 1×Heavy Slot. This will force Players, myself included, to purchase all 5 Slots and make all mecha required piloting.
We could even go a step further and allow a Player to purchase any given Slot type. For example, a Player may not want their 2×Light Slots opened right away, so they purchase both Medium Slots or 1×Heavy and 1×Medium or combination there of.
This will help keep all Classes on the 'field and eliminate meta-games (5×Ancilots).
What are your options? ..
