This is an opinion I've discussed in the past, and really am just looking for a general consensus. Pixonic has never actually informed players in-game that LQ even exists, nonetheless what it is, what gets you sent there, and how to get out.
In my opinion, this lack of information is what has caused the exploitation breeding ground that it's turned into. Countless new and lesser experienced players are in LQ. Far more of them are in LQ than there are Champions that are there to club - evidenced by the fact that most games have 2-4 players of expert and above, and the rest from Private-Diamond.
If players were aware of what LQ is, aware of when they are and are not in LQ, and aware of the rules regarding it, then honest players would be able to avoid it. As it currently stands, they don't even know that they are in it. They just face Champions and have no idea why.
So, in my opinion, I think Pixonic should inform the players in-game about the Leaver's Queue.

I think that the coming game modes will take care of the tankers...One of the modes will be hands down the most efficient for tanking. I on the other hand, will play the other modes that are not. The LQ will not be needed?
Hopefully this plays out...

They don't need to tell players. If you play like a douche, they toss you into the douche room. It's totally dumb to see people cry that they wanna be a douche around normal players and not with other douches.

Most of them are low level noobs, which is why LQ is so awesome for douches. If you inform the players, the noobs are no longer in it. Then it's just douche on douche crime, which everyone is for. Silly Panda.

I don't play a lot of games with random maps, but I think it is possible for new players to quit games because of a map they don't like or whatever the reason. So I think they should get informed about that.

Noob Doucheyness is still Doucheyness. I never had an issue playing the game when I was a noob. Drive robot, shoot robots, everyone fights, no one quits. For Christsakes Pickle Rick! and мιנαριკoo , they teach you this in Starship troopers 101. This "oh no the poor noobs" cry puts the dummy in the phrase "Mijapi is a dummy".

You're assuming that every new player has the same devotion and base level understanding of the game us you or I. It's a mobile game. Many people want to sneak in a quickgame when they can. Perhaps on a poop break. Some of those people don't want a drawn out campfest on Yamantau so they skip it. Unaware that they're screwing their teammates and more unaware that they're screwing themselves. Being a noob is not equal to being a douche. And noobs shouldn't be punished for not knowing what they're doing. As it stands, the people that were intended to be punished by LQ are the only ones not being punished. Instead, they're being rewarded with endless feasts of noobs.

Hey dumbass, news flash. The noob taking his craps and quitting games belongs in the LQ. I dont want him in my games. The LQ need not distinguish those being a douche intentionally vs due to ignorance.

At the very least a Warning before you fall into the WR version of Hades.

Warning should be the hot girl that asks you if you like the game, except this time she says "Hey jackass, stop quitting games".

I go one step further as soon as a new player first starts up WR they should be presented with a players conduct-behaviour screen and the consequences of not complying, The LQ. This may act as deterrent. Sure conduct should be obvious but some of is not. Capper hangers, players preferring to cap beacons getting very low to zilch damage ending up in LQ?
I must have been lucky then because when I was new and Yam map started appearing I skipped it numerous times as soon as the timer began, fortunately i avoided the LQ and then learnt to get the max I could on all maps.

Pixonic absolutely should.
A code of conduct in the menu or a splash screen and a brief explanation of conditions for entering and exiting would be fantastic. I get sick of explaining the LQ to people who haven't heard of it cause it's treated like some weird skull N bones club.

Pix should definitely provide clarity. Even if they don't want to break it all down in a rules style format they should at a minimum give pop up warnings that a player is close to getting put in the LQ w/ guidance on how to avoid it.

@heavypanda: a new perspective. I do not play many games, and I came from RealRacing here. In RR you need to specifically call other players or participate in a "live online event" to play with real people. And the rest 99.9% of time you are playing with/against bots or bots who were copied from live players. So by observing some gameplay style and names I rightfully though that no live person could behave this stupid. And the first two weeks I was under the impression I am playing with and vs bots. Even was angry that I can't pound bots offline. So not every player might understand that he's "letting down" somebody without proper notice.
