I'm in a healthy position Au-Ag but I'll hold back a bit on release (dash). I'm interested see what impact if any they have on the higher leagues, if they don't then resources could be better spent elsewhere. As for bullet buff I'm in two minds about. 1) I'm a Gary driver. 2) I'm a Tempest user. Dashes got more health than a Doc. At least on May-2017 TestServer. And I think that Dashes would be for dollars (AKA Event Coins), not for "silver" or "gold". Yes no doubt but event tokens, influence point and such can be purchased by gold. The Tempest was purchasable by buying event coins with Gold.

I am pretty sure you can buy it with real money ONLY.

It's all speculation at the moment and I guess the next event will be Halloween like last year if they run one? Whatever the means of enquiring one be it through event challenges, token purchase it will require a sizable stash of Au to upgrade especially if you have more than one. Tempests - I can't honesty remember, I won two of them in the event challenge completion, and in one in a chest and purchased tokens for another (2 bot configs) Looking back it could have been cash?
Personally, I'd wait and see how things shake down if there viable in higher leagues otherwise.....

I don't gamble in the Events. I just use earned currency. If I don't get what I want, I buy it - had to buy all three of my Docs damn it lol

If Pixonic catches on that I'll just biy 'em anyway, they'll give me the "Sucker" stamp and I'll never Win one. Ahhh .. Who am I kidd'n. I'd buy it lol

And you could've bought one with event coins, or win from the chest spin. And IF chests would be for Au again - that would be the best investment ever. I spent 19K Gold during 3rd Anniversary and made ~64K worth of equipment. But you can't buy Event tokens with Gold Anniversary event was one of a kind. So most probably you bought Event coins with cash. P.s. sorry for nitpicking but "Au" = "Gold", and "Ag" = "Silver" =)

Should be able to do few upgrades then

Pix seems to be buffing a lot of bots lately to make them viable in the game at higher leagues. I think this is for the reason that a large player base is required for this game, and it appears that Pix is recognizing that not everyone is willing to shell out the $$$ for the best bots.
On the TS, the dash bots had too much fire power once their abilities are taken into account, which has caused a bit of panic and displeasure in the community, so Pix may be in the process of adjusting them.
Hopefully they have learned a lesson with Brit bot domination. A lot of players dropped out of the game once they reached leagues where Brit bots ruled. Pix used rocket buffs to take care of this problem, which has worked, but it pissed off a lot of people who bought Brits. They did it correctly with the WW bots, which are really good, but not too OP, which is where gold bots should be IMO.
I would like to see the dashes slowed down, or maybe have their weapon capabilities reduced before they are released.
What I'm really looking forward to are all the new maps.

Even though I payed for the WW mecha, I did it because I like them. I'm not upset that they aren't OP, I love the fact that they are somewhat of a challenge and when I do great, it's actually an achievement. But come on, Pixonic - Buff every mecha but the Doc? - Boooo!

A lot of people whine about them, but I think they just don't get the idea on correct usage 3) On people being pissed off about BritBots - I really really don't get it. So you pay (NOT that much of money, actually) for the bot that was very good for pretty long amount of time. Now you get more gold, can buy another bot and change of play. Why whine? p.s. it's not "you" you, it's just hypothetical "you"

Brit bots, -weapons to fight them like rockets and soon to be guns are / will be buffed and they are not without their vulnerabilities. The Dash bots if found to be OTT when live will probably face some nurf and/or weapon buffed to deal with them. It would bad for business to make other bots obsolete because of them. Just my 2 cents.
